Dawna Callahan was one of five models for our TODAY Show segment that aired in April. Earlier this summer, she was in Hartford, Connecticut working at an adaptive sport camp and made a special trip to New York to see her custom mannequin on display. In July, our friends at JCPenney decided the forms were a perfect fit for the “When it fits, you feel it” campaign and created a special window display at their Manhattan store.

“I couldn’t be that close and not try to make it into the city to see the display. I met the Store Manager and HR Manager. They were super excited to meet me and are really excited to be a part of the project. I am really grateful that my friend, who happens to be the NYC Commissioner for People with Disabilities, was able to come through in a pinch and offer up a sport chair from the NYC Parks and Recreation Department,” Dawna said of her trip.

We are beyond excited that Dawna got to see her incredible mannequin in the spotlight, right where it belongs.
