After many years of manufacturing cloth forms for J. Crew, they came to us with a special request, a little something different for the opening of their SoHo Men’s Shop. They didn’t want to change the design of the cloth forms, but instead of the natural canvas we had been using, J. Crew asked us to use a charcoal grey wool from Italy to match the bespoke feel of the space. We were more than happy to oblige. A new tradition was born for the company, taking cues from the store location to inform the fabric on the form. White linen in Malibu for a beachy feeling. BLAH FABRIC in BLAH PLACE for BLAH REASON FEEL. Such a simple thing can make a big difference. And it does.
