Our creative partnership with Guess? extended to their Guess? Accessories store. They wanted a mannequin that they could adorn with the accessories sold in the store, but this mannequin would never wear clothes. To avoid the “naked” mannequin look, we brought a model to a special effects studio and used motion-capture technology to catch her in a variety of poses – dancing, walking, sitting, playing. We took the body scan pictures and created 3D outputs, softening the anatomy of the design so the form wouldn’t have the awkward look of a plain mannequin without clothes. The resulting mannequins artfully display the Guess? accessories without drawing attention away from the merchandise.
